FOX CHAPEL (KDKA) – A boy was revived after being pulled from the Fox Chapel Golf Club pool Wednesday night.

Emergency crews were called to the club pool around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday after an 8-year-old boy was pulled from the water and was unresponsive.

An unidentified individual immediately performed CPR, and the child was breathing and had opened his eyes by the time paramedics arrived.

He is recovering at Children’s Hospital. Fox Chapel Golf Club management has said that he is sitting up in bed and talking with his parents.

The boy’s name has not yet been released. Fox Chapel Police say the incident is still under investigation, and they will have no further comments until all witnesses have been interviewed.
