LEECHBURG (KDKA) — Police are searching for an unidentified suspect who robbed the Farmers and Merchants Bank in Leechburg Borough.

The suspect, who is considered to be armed and dangerous, stole an undetermined amount of money from the bank, located at 160 Market Street, around 10:40 a.m. Thursday.

Police are searching for a white male who is approximately 55-years-old or older, 5-feet-10-inches tall and 190 pounds.

He was described as having thick dark hair to the bottom of his ears. He was last seen wearing a bright blue baseball hat, a navy blue polo shirt and jeans.

He was last seen running south, away from the bank.
