Report: LeBeau Expecting Manziel To Start For Browns In Week 1 Matchup

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - As much as the Cleveland Browns try to convince everyone that quarterback Brian Hoyer will be their starter in the team's Week One match-up with the Steelers, Pittsburgh defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau isn't buying it.

According to Ryan Wilson of CBSSports.com, LeBeau is preparing his defensive scheme for the opening week to stop Manziel, not Hoyer.

LeBeau references what Manziel was able to do in college and what he thought of his game and admits he doesn't know what the Browns are doing, but is making sure his team is ready.

Meanwhile, Manziel has begun to see more and more work with the Browns' starters in practice, but as Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com writes, head coach Mike Pettine continues to downplay the hype surrounding his team's first-round draft choice.

One interesting piece of information to keep an eye on though is that Pettine has yet to name a starting quarterback for the team's first preseason game.
