Steelers Sign WR James Shaw

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed a new wide receiver to their squad.

According to a statement from the team, the Steelers signed James Shaw Wednesday morning.

Shaw played eight games for the Pittsburgh Power in the Arena Football League this season, where he made 21 receptions for 192 yards and three touchdowns.

The 5-foot-11-inch receiver played college football for Jacksonville State.

To make room for Shaw, the Steelers waived injured wide receiver Danny Coale.

The Steelers will take on the New York Giants in their first preseason game Saturday night. You can watch the game on KDKA-TV.
