READING, Pa. (AP) – Police say a Pennsylvania man stole an ambulance and led them on a 10-mile chase before he was arrested.
Boyertown police say 47-year-old Kevin C. Fountain stole a Reading Fire Department ambulance Saturday at about 6 a.m. as an emergency crew was tending to a patient inside a hospital. The Reading Eagle reports that Fountain is facing charges of receiving stolen property, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, false identification to law enforcement and other traffic offenses.
