Police: Woman Dragged By Hair From Car Driven By Her Partner

RESERVE TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Neighbors were awakened by women screaming and arguing on Pittview Avenue - just before 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Arriving Reserve Township Police found 21-year-old Sarra Scufca lying in a driveway. She was bleeding from wounds to her mouth, head, arms, abdomen and shoulder - including "roadrash" injures.

Scufca told police she was at a party on West Beckert Street where she was punched by her partner Jamie Rachael Rajowski - the fight continued inside Skufca's brown Kia, with Rajkowski choking Skufca as she drove and ripping out three to six of her earrings.

Skufka told officers she was forced to stop on Pittview and got out, hollering for help.

That's when the 20-year-old Rajkowski slid from the passenger into the driver's seat.

According to the criminal complaint, Jamie Rajkowski managed to hit the accelerator - ejecting Sarra Skufca from the vehicle. Somehow Skufca's hair was caught in the driver's side door.

Police found her injuries to be consistant with being dragged along the roadway by her hair for a few feet.

Jamie Rajkowski has a 15-month-old child by Skufca's brother, and only recently became involved with Sarra. The fight may have been about a break-up in their relationship.

Rajkowski is facing charges of aggravated assault by vehicle, driving under the influence, underage drinking, simple assault, reckless endangerment and terroristic threats.

Jamie Rajkowski remains in the Allegheny County Jail. Her bail is $100,000.
