Arnold Palmer Undergoes Successful Pacemaker Implant Surgery

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Arnold Palmer, the 84-year-old Latrobe golfing legend, had a successful pacemaker implant surgery Monday at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital to correct an abnormal heartbeat according to his website.

The report said Palmer will remain in the hospital for observation overnight and is expected to be released Tuesday.

Palmer hasn't let the abnormal heartbeat slow him down that much this summer as just this month, he appeared at the Champions Tour's 3M Championship at TPC Twin Cities.
