Water Main Break Closes Hill District Road
HILL DISTRICT (KDKA)- Water was gushing out of the ground in part of the Hill District early Tuesday morning.
Police reported a big water main break along Reed Street, near Kilpatrick Street, around 4 a.m.
Water was coming up out of a hole next to the road and was rushing down the street. The hole was near Kennedy Park.
Water crews were able to shut off the water around 4:45 a.m.
It doesn't appear any water service has been cut off to homes in the area.
Reed Street is blocked off as crews work on fixing the break.
