Bravo Pet Foods Recalled After Salmonella Contamination

Some chicken and turkey Bravo pet foods are being recalled for possible salmonella contamination.

The contamination affects both cat and dog foods.

Both pets can become sickened by eating contaminated food and so can humans who handle it and don't properly wash their hands.

People infected with salmonella might have symptoms such as fever, abdominal cramping, nausea and vomiting or diarrhea.

Pets who are infected might be lethargic and experience similar ailments.

For a full list of the products affected, visit fda.gov/recalls.
