Police: Man Tries To Kill Another Man With Tractor

GREENE COUNTY (KDKA) – Police says a Greene County man tried to kill another man with a farm tractor in Washington Township.

According to a criminal complaint 59-year-old Frank Oleary went after Robert Clay when Clay was driving his truck onto a gas well access road on Oleary's property.

Witnesses say Oleary rammed the truck with the Kubota tractor.

When the truck stopped, Oleary allegedly yelled "I will kill you" to Clay and used the bucket of the tractor to pin Clay against the driver's side of his truck.

Witnesses also said Oleary exited the tractor and hit Clay in the face several times.

Police say Clay was severely injured, and suffered significant cuts and was bleeding from his arm.

He had to be taken by ambulance to Washington Hospital, and then transferred to a Pittsburgh trauma center.

Oleary has been charged with attempted criminal homicide, aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats and criminal mischief.

He's being held in Greene County jail on $100,000 bond.
