Driver Flees After Crashing Car Into On-ramp Barrier

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police are looking for a driver who crashed downtown and left their wrecked car.

It happened around 2:15 a.m. when the driver crashed into a barrier at the Parkway on-ramps located off of Ft. Duquesne Boulevard.

The car hit the barrier between the Parkway West and East split and was heavily damaged.

PennDOT was called in to fix the barrier and closed the road for about an hour as crews cleaned up the wreckage.

Police say a male driver fled the scene on foot and they are currently looking for him.
