Fire Sweeps Through Dollar General In Rostraver

ROSTRAVER (KDKA) -- Customers were inside a Dollar General store in Westmoreland County when it caught fire this evening.

According to emergency dispatchers, the blaze broke out just after 7 p.m. at the store in the plaza on Tri-County Lane in Rostraver Township.

Twelve people were inside the business at the time, including two employees and 10 customers.

They were all able to get out safely and there were no reports of injuries.

So far, the extent of the damage to the store is not yet known, and there was also smoke damage to two neighboring businesses, a Hallmark and a JoAnn Fabrics.

Officials have not yet said what sparked the fire.
