Amplify: Author Discusses Using Faith To Cope With Anxiety
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Father Ron Lengwin had author Amy Simpson as a guest on "Amplify." Simpson discussed her book "Anxious- Choosing Faith in a World of Worry," and how to use faith in God to rationalize anxiety.
Simpson and her family were going through a stressful time and she considered herself a "worry wart."
That was until one Sunday in church.
She heard the speaker read from Isaiah. She was already familiar with it, but this time, it seemed specifically for her. Simpson felt the reach of God's love and understood that she need not worry.
