Beulah Road Closed Due To Crash Involving Utility Pole

CHURCHILL (KDKA)- Part of Beulah Road had to be closed due to an early-morning crash involving a utility pole.

An SUV slammed into the pole, snapping it from its base. The crash happened just after 3 a.m. Monday.

Police closed Beulah Road from McCrady Road to Penny Drive. Long Road was also closed from Beulah Road to Pentland Drive.

Police expect the roads to be closed for quite some time as utility crews work on repairing the damaged utility pole and the downed wires.

There are some power outages in the area due to the crash.

No word on if the driver of the SUV was injured in the crash.
