COLLIER TOWNSHIP (KDKA)- Police are investigating an overnight crash where a car slammed right through a garage door.

According to police, the crash happened around midnight at a home in the 1100-block of Woodruff Circle in Collier Township.

Police say the driver actually crashed through his own garage door. The crash knocked the garage door off and damaged an SUV already parked in the garage.

The house was not damaged.

The driver was sleeping inside his car when police arrived. He was taken away from the scene in an ambulance. Police say he refused to answer any of their questions.

Police are investigating what role, if any, alcohol played in the crash.
