PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Pittsburgh Police have released new surveillance video of a South Side man who has been missing for almost two weeks now.

A surveillance camera captured Paul Kochu walking on Wharton Street in the South Side around 2:45 a.m. back on Dec. 16.

Watch the surveillance video:

He walks towards the Tenth Street Bridge. The Giant Eagle in that area is seen in the background.

The 22-year-old is a recent graduate of Duquesne University and now a nurse in the ICU unit at Allegheny General Hospital.

His family says disappearing without a trace is completely out of character.

“Paul is… he’s not going to harm anyone. He’s a gentle compassionate man. He holds no ill will towards anyone,” said Jack Kochu, Paul’s father, earlier this month.

Co-workers from AGH are also distraught and confused.

They held a vigil last week to pray for his safe return, and loved ones have organized private search parties to bolster the police investigation.

This new footage is the first significant clue authorities have released. They hope it results in a solid lead.

Meanwhile, his family hopes that Paul realizes all they’re doing to bring him home.

“That we’re not giving up on you, and that we will find you, and we love you, and to please just find the deep strength we know you have in the core of your being and keep hanging on until we can find you because we’re trying our best,” said Jessica Kochu, Paul’s sister.

The Kochu family is offering a $20,000 reward for any information that might help police find him.
