Suspect Sought After Robbing 2 South Hills Village Employees

BETHEL PARK (KDKA) – Police are investigating after two employees were robbed at the South Hills Village Mall on Monday.

According to police, the incident happened around 9:45 p.m.

Two employees were leaving a restaurant, when they were approached by an African-American man outside of the loading dock.

After showing a semi-automatic handgun, the suspect took a purse from the victim. The purse contained an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was captured on surveillance video and was positively identified by the victims.

He is described as standing about 5-fee-5-inches tall with a thin build and is believed to be in his early 20s.

He was last seen wearing a black, hooded-sweatshirt blue jeans and had a deep voice.
