World Of Wheels Coming To Pittsburgh Jan. 23-25
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - With the 54th annual World Of Wheels event coming to Pittsburgh on Jan. 23 through the 25, 93-7 The FAN's Jeff Hathhorn caught up with Public Relations Director Larry Way to talk about everything car enthusiasts will get to see at the event.
"We are so excited," Way said. "We've probably got the best quality show we've ever had. The floor is full of hot rods, custom cars, trucks, we've got probably 400-plus motorcycles, we have traditional rods, rat rods, lots of celebrities, bands, so there's lots of excitement."
Way told Hathhorn what exactly fans will get to see, the quality of the cars that will be there and things the automotive enthusiasts can take in.
"This is kind of the cream of the crop," Way said. "We also have a lot of manufacturers that are there so you can buy parts and you can get car cleaning products."
Way also described the specialty attractions that will be at the World Of Wheels.
"Friday night we have 'Big Show,' the WWE Superstar wrestler, he's on from 6 to 8. Saturday, there's a show on Discovery called 'Street Outlaws.' You also have here in Pittsburgh a guy by the name of Jeff Lutz, two of his cars are on the cover of Hot Rod Magazine, the current issue that's on news stands, and he's doing stuff on 'Street Outlaws' show, too," said Way.
