PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) – With all of their National Letter’s of Intent signed, the Pitt football program and new head coach Pat Narudzzi have unveiled their 2015 recruiting class including the top recruit in Pennsylvania, Jordan Whitehead out of Central Valley High School.

Narduzzi talked about his recruiting class saying it’s not just a talented class, but also a class of high character kids.

“The most impressive thing about this class is the character,” Narduzzi said. “Major character. When you talk to these kids, you’ve got a bunch of leaders. We’ve got a group of character individuals that will lead this football team into the future and guys that you really want to be in the foxhole with.”

Narduzzi spoke specifically about his top recruit defensive back Jordan Whitehead.

“The number one player in the state, probably enough said there. You couldn’t have a better addition to the class.  He’s a guy that’s hung on and again had faith and trust and is a guy that loves the city of Pittsburgh and the state of Pennsylvania.  He can do it all.”
