PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Two Indiana University of Pennsylvania students were arrested after rear-ending a police car while drunk.
Indiana Borough police say two students, 20-year-old John Birkman and 19-year-old Michael Newman, were arrested around 2:45 a.m.READ MORE: Kenny Pickett Wins Prestigious Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award
Police say the two students rear-ended a police car along Philadelphia Street, injuring the two officers inside the car.
Both officers were taken to the hospital and later released with minor injuries.READ MORE: PTL Links: Dec. 7, 2021
Birkman and Newman were both charged with underage drinking, in addition to other charges.
