Overturned Tractor-Trailer Closes Part Of I-79

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Southbound Interstate 79 is closed after a tractor-trailer overturned.

It crashed near Neville Island.

Both lanes have been closed between Exit 68 at Mt. Nebo Road and Route 65 at the Emsworth/Sewickley interchanges.

At one point the tractor-trailer was reportedly on fire.

No word of any injuries at this time.

Drivers are encouraged to take alternate routes
