Rich On The Road: First Official Practice On Tuesday
BRADENTON (KDKA) -- The Pirates kick their first official practice off Tuesday with a team meeting at 9 a.m.
Practice starts at 10 a.m.
Everyone will be out on the field for the first time together this spring.
More Korean media arrived Monday. The Pirates PR told me more are expected Tuesday.
One of the reporters told me "Jung Ho Kang is a very big deal in Korea."
I will have a pretty cool feature on Kang Tuesday at 6 p.m. on KDKA-TV.
I go to an English class with him. He is taking online English courses with his interpreter. His vocabulary isn't extensive, but his baseball knowledge. Even though he can't have conversations with other players you can clearly see he is gaining the respect of his teammates.
