Steelers Tender Offers To Three Restricted Free Agents

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - In an attempt to keep three of their own players, the Pittsburgh Steelers have tendered offers to restricted free agent fullback Will Johnson, cornerback Antwon Blake and safety Robert Golden.

Tendering offers to these players means the Steelers reserve the right to match any offer another team would make them should the players sign an offer sheet from an opposing team.

Will Johnson came to the Steelers in 2012 and has appeared in 47 games throughout the regular season while making 17 starts.

Blake was claimed by the Steelers off waivers from the Jaguars in 2013 and in 2014 recorded his first career interception, forced fumble and fumble recovert.

Goden, the Steelers special teams captain in 2014, came to the Steelers as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2-12 and has recorded 27 special teams tackled in his three season with the Steelers.
