Dairy Queen Offering Free Cones For 75th Anniversary

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Today's one of the warmest days we've had in months – and what better way to celebrate than with free ice cream?

Today is Free Cone Day at participating Dairy Queens. The ice cream franchise is celebrating 75 years of dishing out delicious soft serve.

If you go to a Dairy Queen, you can get a free small vanilla ice cream cone.

DQ also says it's accepting donations that will be given to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

If you want to get your free cone, here are some Pittsburgh-area Dairy Queen's that should be open for the season:

-South Side: 1223 E. Carson Street

-Dormont: 1693 McFarland Road

-Brentwood: 2795 Saw Mill Run Boulevard

-North Hills: 3002 Babcock Boulevard

-West Mifflin: 400 Lebanon Road

-Robinson: 268 Settlers Ridge Center Drive
