Report: Pouncey Brothers Rip Ex-Teammate Mike Wallace

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Having both played with wide receiver Mike Wallace, Maurkice and Mike Pouncey have strong opinions about their former teammate that they weren't afraid to share.

Andrew Abramson of The Palm Beach Post writes about a Miami CBS 4 television interview the Pouncey brothers did that will air Tuesday night in which Maurkice calls Wallace "a coward" for reportedly taking himself out of the team's final game of the season after not getting enough passes thrown his way.

The Dolphins lost that game against the Jets, 37-24.  The Dolphins traded Wallace, along with a 7th-round draft pick, last week to the Minnesota Vikings in exchange for a 5th-round pick.

Wallace left the Steelers following the 2012 season and signed a 5-year, $60 million contract with the Dolphins.

In the only two years he played for the Dolphins under that deal, Wallace recorded 140 catches, 1,792 yards and 15 touchdowns.

UPDATE: Mike Wallace has weighed in on the Pouncey's criticism via Twitter saying the media took their comments out of context.
