Man Sought After Snatching Cash From Carrick Gas Station Clerk

CARRICK (KDKA) –Pittsburgh Police are asking for the public's help to identify a man that snatched cash from a gas station clerk in Carrick.

According to police, the incident happened at the BP gas station in the 1900-block of Brownsville Road around 9 a.m. Wednesday.

The white male suspect reached over the counter and took an undetermined amount of cash out of the clerk's hand. The suspect then fled the scene on foot in the direction of Mt. Oliver.

The suspect is believed to be in his 20s and is approximately 6-feet tall and weighs about 220 pounds.

He was last seen wearing an Old Navy sweatshirt with dark pants and light-colored boots.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
