PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) – The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced the signing of wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey to a one-year deal.

Heyward-Bey dressed for all 16 regular season games for the Steelers last year as well as in the postseason loss to the Baltimore Ravens and was listed as a starter for three regular season games.

On the year, Heyward caught three passes for 33 yards while playing a role on the special teams units.

The former seventh overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft, Heyward-Bey has appeared in 88 regular season games and two postseaon games tallying 172 catches for 2,413 yards and 12 touchdowns during the regular season.
