Students To Return To Seton-La Salle Monday, Following Threats

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Parents of Seton-La Salle students met with the school today to discuss plans to resume classes Monday.

Officials have decided that students will returns to school Monday, our news partners at the Post-Gazette report.

Classes were canceled for three days this week following a series of threatening emails.

The FBI and Mt. Lebanon Police were investigating the threats.

Police say several faculty members and the principal received an email threatening violence against students and staff, including mentions of killing students and staff.

"It specifically talked about bloodshed, bloodshed in the hallways, bullets, stuff like that," Mt. Lebanon Deputy Chief Aaron Lauth said.

Officers say the email also made mention of incidents that occurred at Columbine High School and Sandy Hook Elementary School.

Students have been working from home using laptops.
