Man Struck By Vehicle, Injured In New Brighton

NEW BRIGHTON (KDKA) -- A man was injured after he was struck by a vehicle in Beaver County late Monday night.

The accident happened around 10 p.m. in the 1700-block of Fifth Avenue in New Brighton.

According to New Brighton Police, the driver of the vehicle did stop and contacted police and paramedics.

The victim is a 26-year-old male. His name has not been released.

He was taken by medical helicopter to a local hospital for treatment.

There's no word on his condition.
