Police: Man Arrested Twice In Same Night For Driving Impaired, Caught Attempting To Reheat Pizza On Dashboard
STURTEVANT, WI (KDKA) -- A Wisconsin man has been arrested for impaired driving twice in the same night, and officers say the second time he was busted he was attempting to warm up leftover pizza on his dashboard.
Sturtevant Police posted this photo of the pizza on the car's dashboard.
Officers say over the weekend the 25-year-old man was observed swerving into oncoming lanes of traffic.
They stopped him and arrested him for his second offense of drug impaired driving.
He was released to a sober driver.
Officers then say 15-minutes later he was discovered back inside his car, warming up pizza on the dashboard, and leaving the area.
He failed a sobriety test again, and was arrested for his third offense of drug impaired driving.
This isn't the first instance of a bizarre story involving pizza and an arrest.
You might remember a Uniontown man tried to rob a pizza restaurant last year with a note written on toilet paper.
Detectives were able to match the would-be pizza robber to a roll of toilet paper found in his home.
