PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — The Rainbow’s End Day Care Center and Child Academy on Murray Avenue in the city’s Squirrel Hill section closed its doors for good on Tuesday.

The owner of the building went to court and got the okay to evict the business because of unpaid rent.
Kristy Pierce showed up at the center just before closing time late in the afternoon.

Another woman who came to the center said her daughter had three children enrolled at Rainbow’s End. The grandmother, who did not give her name, said, “I love this daycare; it’s top notch.”
The owner of the business, Tare Kentobe, told KDKA-TV, “I feel very bad. I thought we could work things out, that’s why we didn’t say anything to parents [until today].
