Woman Facing Charges, Accused Of Having Sex With Son's Teenage Friend At Alcohol-Fueled Party

SOUTH HUNTINGTON TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- A Westmoreland County woman accused of having sex with her son's teenage friend during an alleged alcohol-fueled party appeared in court today.

Sherry Lee was supposed to face a preliminary hearing Wednesday on charges she had sex with an underage male during an alcohol-fueled house party she was allegedly hosting.

However, her lawyer says they will go to court and his client is innocent.

Lee's attorney made it clear what he thinks of the accusations that the 41-year-old mother had sex with a 15-year-old boy.

"None of it ever happened," said Allen Roth, the defense attorney.

The alleged incident took place inside Lee's South Huntington Township home.

According to investigators, the teen told police he passed out. He said Lee woke him, took him upstairs and forced him to have sex with her.

Police say the September 2014 incident happened after a high school football game. Investigators say Lee allegedly provided vodka and beer to several teens and is accused of smoking pot with them.

"I don't know if there was alcohol there or not," said Roth.

Police say Lee told the young man "not to tell anyone."

Roth says if this trial becomes a matter of "he says-she says," he confident because the accuser allegedly has changed his account a few time already and Lee has a line of people ready to back her account.

"There's lots of support," said Roth. "Believe me, there's going to be lots of witnesses."

According to Roth, Lee's life has been turned upside down since the accusations came out.

"It's extremely stressful on her and her children; there's no question about that," he said.

Lee remains free on her own recognizance. Her formal arraignment is set for July 1.
