PITTSBURGH (KDKA)- Zone 2 police are investigating shots fired and a car shot up early Monday morning.
Officers were initially dispatched for a shots fired call around 1:40 a.m. and found the scene near the intersection of Dobson and Downing Streets in Polish Hill.READ MORE: COVID-19 Vaccination Rates Slowing Across The Nation As Pa. Sits Short Of 70% Goal
A few minutes later, the 19-year-old victim called 911 to report his Nissan Altima had been shot up at that location.
Due to a flat tire, the victim was forced to stop at a McDonald’s in the Strip District.

Two people who were riding in the car were interviewed by police. It doesn’t appear anyone was hit by the gunfire.
According to the victim, the suspect was described as a light-skinned African American man, who was driving a large, white SUV.
So far, no arrests have been made.
