Three Rivers Arts Festival Jam-Packed With Fun, Entertainment

The Three Rivers Arts Festival is just days away.

The 10-day event starts Friday, June 5, and runs through June 14.

In addition to the artist market, there will be music on several stages throughout the weekend and plenty of food to choose from.

Veronica Corpuz, Director of the Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival, joined "The KDKA Morning News" with Larry Richert and John Shumway to talk about the Three Rivers Arts Festival that kicks off June 5-14.

Rain and severe weather always seem to be around when the Arts Festival is going on, but Corpuz says a study was done that says the 10 days for the art festival are the least rainy.

She does admit weather can get in the way.

"It's a reality, a challenge in our planning, we are always thinking about it and always, kind of, staying ahead of it," Corpuz says.

Corpuz also talked about how if you plan on going to the festival more than once you'll most likely see different artists each time.

"We actually have a new group of artists each Saturday, then midweek on Wednesday, and then also on Friday the 12th, will give you different opportunities… You're going miss so much more. We have over 350 artists from all around the country," Corpuz says
