1 Killed In Route 28 Crash

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – One person was killed in a crash on Route 28 Thursday afternoon.

The crash happened in the southbound lanes near Millvale.

Two people were thrown from a red BMW convertible. One of those victims died.

Two other people were injured.

Traffic was jammed for hours in that area after the crash.

The road fully reopened just after 10:30 p.m.

The victim has not yet been identified.
