Former Hotel Employee Accused Of Molestation In Court After Allegedly Contacting Victims

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A Cranberry hotel desk clerk was in court Thursday after allegedly contacting two boys she's accused of molesting.

Nancy Fields, 33, a former desk clerk at the Candlewood Suites, is accused of molesting two minor boys who were staying there with their mother. She's accused on a long list of sex abuse charges, including indecent exposure, indecent assault, corruption of minors and endangering the welfare of children.

Fields was at a bond revocation hearing Thursday after she allegedly contacted the victims.

According to court documents, the mother and her two boys moved into the hotel back in September of 2013, so the mother could be closer to the medical care she needed. Fields, who worked the front desk at the Candlewood Suites, quickly became friends with the family.

But after a few weeks, Fields' behavior became inappropriate and sexual. Fields allegedly forced the boys to touch her "in a sexual manner" and took sexually explicit photos of them.

The family is suing the Candlewood Suites.

According to the lawsuit, Candlewood management responded to the mother's complaints by telling Fields she needed to be more discrete in her interactions with the boys. They also joked that she was "merely taking off their training wheels."

Fields was fired from the hotel in January of 2014.
