2 Plead Guilty To Murder In Shooting Of Wiz Khalifa's Uncle

PITTSBURGH (KDKA/AP) - Two men have pleaded guilty to murder in the drug-related shooting death of rapper Wiz Khalifa's uncle in a Pittsburgh-area fast-food restaurant parking lot.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that 21-year-old Braddock resident Michael Wolford will spend 30 to 60 years in prison while 19-year-old Penn Hills resident Jaron Young was sentenced to 12 1/2 to 25 years in prison.

They pleaded guilty Tuesday to third-degree murder and robbery-related charges in the January 2014 death of 20-year-old Imani Porter.

Authorities say Porter was shot in head while sitting in a car in the parking lot of the Steak'n Shake at The Waterfront.

"It's very, very hard," said Porter's father, Jibril Abdul-Hafith, in January 2014 after the shooting. "I've been crying all night, been crying when I woke up. There's a hole in my heart."

Homicide-related charges were withdrawn against a third man, 21-year-old Wilkinsburg resident Paul "Los" Sanders. He was instead sentenced to nine to 18 months in jail on felony heroin charges.

His attorney says Sanders "was never involved in a homicide" and shouldn't have been charged.

Wolford's attorney says his client is remorseful.
