Kids Slingshot Snowballs Into River To Celebrate First Day Of Summer

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – On the first day of summer, kids at the Carnegie Science Center officially said goodbye to winter and hello to summer.

Kids who saved snowballs from over the winter tossed them into the Ohio River Sunday afternoon.

Some used slingshots, others threw them in the old fashioned way.
