PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The search is on in Beaver County for a man who allegedly raped his girlfriend, then broke into nearby homes to avoid police.

But it doesn’t stop there.

The Tribune-Review says a woman confronted 35-year-old Richard Jackson when she found him hiding in her bathroom. The newspaper reports she stabbed him with a sword she had bought for her son.

He got away.

Police say he was recently released from prison in Florida on murder-related charges.
