Furry Tails: Noir & Champ Are Searching For Good Homes

Are you looking to bring a pet into your home? Local animal shelters are a great place to find a furry companion. So, as part of Furry Tails, I'll be doing an ongoing feature on adoptable pets from local animal shelters once a week. If you have room in your heart and are looking to bring a lovable ball of fur into your home, maybe one of these guys is meant to be a part of your family!

Noir

Animal Friends
With Hollywood good looks, Noir is quite the movie star! He's smart and loves to have fun, too! Him finding a loving home would be "the stuff that dreams are made of."

Animal Friends Pet Profile:
Noir is one handsome guy! Behind those good looks though is one intelligent boy! Noir is a quick, but polite learner and will readily sit or offer his paw in exchange for a tasty reward.

This confident gentleman also behaves appropriately in the car. On a recent outing to North Park, Noir was the perfect passenger and took his role as 'co-pilot' seriously. He sat quietly and was extremely observant, ensuring that his driver adhered to posted speed limits!

Noir is very social, but can be somewhat excitable. For that reason he would be most suited to live in a family with children over twelve and no cats. Previous experience with the pittie breed would be helpful.

Someone believes in Noir so much that they have sponsored his adoption! He truly is priceless!

Champ

Western Pa. Humane Society
Champ is quite the character! This pup is sweet and loving, and needs a good home! He loves to play but is also a great cuddlier!

Western Pa. Humane Society Pet Profile:
Champ is an athletic and playful dog who loves to be around people. His foster family reports that he is very loving and friendly and has a great temperament. He relaxes by cuddling up on the couch, and is also active, and loves chasing balls in the park. He is fully house trained and leash trained.

He knows many tricks such as sit, down, paw, rollover, and even whisper. Yes, whisper. Don't worry, though, he'll keep your secrets! Champ would make a great running partner and would do best with an active family who can keep him engaged.

Due to reports from his previous home, we believe that Champ would do best in a home with teens or adults only. We also think that he would benefit from some simple obedience training, which would also be a great way to bond with his new owner.

If Champ sounds like he could be the perfect champ for you, then please come down to the Western PA Humane Society and meet him today!
