HOMEWOOD (KDKA)- Pittsburgh Police officers in Zone 5 were able to take several illegal guns off the streets.

The officers, assisted by SWAT, attempted to serve a search warrant for stolen property at a home in the 7400 block of Race Street in Homewood.

As officers approached, they notice several men running away. The three men were later captured.

19 year old Thomas Howard-Goins, 23 year old Aqeel Daniels and 25 year old Terrell Scott all face charges, including the charge of persons not elgible to possess firearms. Daniels and Howard-Goins also face charges of receiving stolen property.
