Kraft-Heinz Recalls Cheese Singles Due To Choking Hazard

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Kraft-Heinz is recalling 36,000 cases of individually-wrapped cheese singles because you could choke on them.

The voluntary recall involves the three-pound and four-pound boxes of Kraft singles American and white American pasteurized cheese.

They have a best by date of between Dec. 29, 2015, and Jan. 4, 2016, followed by the manufacturing codes S54 or S55.

Kraft says a thin strip of packaging film could stick to the cheese slice after the wrapper has been removed.
