Mercer Co. Police Officer Killed In Greenville Crash

GREENVILLE, Pa. (KDKA) -- A Mercer County police officer and one other person are dead after a two-vehicle accident in Greenville.

According to WKBN in Youngstown, Ohio, state police say 41-year-old Jeremiah Christner was killed in the crash on Greenville Sheakleyville Road.

Christner's son was in the car with him, and was also killed.

Christner was a police officer with the Greenville Police Department.

Police say Christner lost control of his vehicle and struck the other car.

The driver and passenger in the other vehicle were also hurt. There's no word on their conditions.
