Black Bear Spotted In Butler Co.
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A black bear was spotted in Butler County Saturday.
A viewer sent in photos of the bear walking around in Jefferson Township on Bullcreek Road Saturday afternoon.
The bear appears to be an adult and by itself.
Just last month, someone also spotted a black bear running across Route 422 in Armstrong County.
And in May, a black bear was cause for concern in Monroeville.
It took about a week to trap him and game officials were worried that he'd become too comfortable in the residential neighborhood.
He's since been captured and released back into the wild.
