ERIE (AP) – State police say a northwestern Pennsylvania woman found an intruder taking a shower and doing his laundry when she woke up Saturday.

That’s why 24-year-old Casey James Shaffer, of Erie, remained jailed Monday on charges of criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, public intoxication and loitering and prowling at night.

Troopers say the 44-year-old resident lives in Greene Township, near Erie.

They say she called police shortly after 8 a.m. Saturday.

Online court records don’t list an attorney for Shaffer who remained in the Erie County Prison awaiting a preliminary hearing on Sept. 8.
