Cops: Man With Bucket Of Cash & Gun Threatens Car Dealer

ALTOONA, Pa. (AP) - Police say a man who appeared to be under the influence of medication or alcohol walked into a car dealership with a bucket containing $39,000 - then threatened to blow up the place and pulled a gun after claiming a worker shorted him some of the cash.

Online court records don't list an attorney for 53-year-old Perry Semelsberger, of Patton. A woman who answered his home phone Thursday tells The Associated Press that he was "overly medicated" and needs help, but declined to give her name or divulge a defense attorney's name.

Logan Township police say Semelsberger walked into Courtesy Motor Sales about 8:15 p.m. Tuesday.

After pouring the cash onto himself, police say Semelsberger tried to stuff some into a female employee's dress before turning violent.

He remained in the Blair County Prison on Thursday.
