“Brandished a gun, demanded money and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash,” Pittsburgh Police Spokeswoman Sonya Toler said. “We believe she fled on foot, but it’s very possible she walked around the corner and got into a car. We don’t know.”

The suspect, an African-American woman, robbed the store at gunpoint.

“Our investigators were very quickly on the scene for this. Searched the area for her, went into the store, looked at the video footage and got the photo out as quickly as possible,” Toler said.
