IIHS Releases List Of Best Used Cars For New Drivers

One of the biggest worries for parents is when their teenagers get behind the wheel.

However, a new report could help ease those concerns.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety just released its list of best used cars for new drivers.

It found the bigger is better.

Vehicles like the Volvo S80 and Ford Taurus as well as SUVs like the Ford Flex were some of the safest.

Parents should also look for cars that feature electronic stability control systems to help on slippery roads and avoid those with high horsepower.
