Fire Rips Through Ross Township Home

ROSS TOWNSHIP (KDKA)- Firefighters were called to the scene of a fire in Ross Township Friday morning.

It started just before 4 a.m. at a house in the 100-block of Sewickley-Oakmont Road.

When crews arrived on scene, the house was fully engulfed in flames and part of it was collapsing.

Police and fire crews blocked off the area.

Around 4:30 a.m., the bulk of the fire was knocked down and all people at the scene were accounted for.

There were no reports of any injuries.

The Allegheny County fire marshal has been called to the scene to investigate the cause.
