PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. (AP) – Police are searching for a man who used a BB pistol while trying to rob an elderly Pennsylvania woman, only to be tricked into dropping it when she shouted, “There’s the police.”

Punxsutawney police Chief James Borza says police were still searching for the suspect who approached the woman shortly after 11 a.m. Friday. The incident happened in the parking lot outside the Uni-Mart store in the Punxy Plaza.
